What's New

0.66.1

Added

  • The site now uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use.

0.66.0

Your own data, through an API.

Added

  • Personal API. Make a key on the API page (signed in with Discord), then use it from a script, a spreadsheet or another app. A key reads only your own data, and nothing can be changed through it. It covers:
    • portfolios and stats: totals at the latest prices; every holding's value, weight, today's change and P&L; weight by sector; realized gains; upcoming earnings and ex-dividend dates;
    • P&L positions with their legs and value now;
    • watchlists with each symbol's latest quote;
    • card images of a portfolio, P&L position or watchlist, as in the Share menu;
    • your charts: your chart setups and drawings, and a chart image drawn with your chart type, colours, overlays and drawings. Portfolios and watchlists also come as CSV, so a spreadsheet can pull them straight in. You can have up to five keys and revoke any of them at once.
  • The API page lists every endpoint with Python, curl and Google Sheets examples, next to the exports already on the site and the Discord commands.

0.65.0

Faces and logos.

Added

  • Company logos in the header of every stock, fund and crypto page.
  • Member profiles on congress member pages:
    • their official portrait, party, district and years in the House (or that they've left Congress);
    • links to their official site and congressional biography.

Changed

  • The JSON API page is now Your Data & Exports (API). It shows where to get things out of the site: chart images, links and data; portfolio, P&L and watchlist cards; stats; CSV files. It also lists the Discord commands that use them.
  • Market data (quotes, charts, search, news and the rest) is now served only to this site's own pages. It's no longer a public API.

Fixed

  • Congress member pages no longer scroll sideways on phones.

0.64.0

A public record of congress reports that change after filing.

Added

  • Congress Notice Board (CNB, linked from Congress Trades). It lists every House trading report that house.gov replaced, took down or dropped from its filing index after we first read it. Each entry shows:
    • what happened and when;
    • every version we've seen, with its fingerprint;
    • which trades were dropped or added between versions;
    • our archived copy of each version, next to the link to the original on house.gov.
  • Tags on affected trades. Trades from these reports are tagged Replaced, Removed or Unlisted on Congress Trades, member pages and stock pages. Each tag links to the report's entry on the notice board.
  • Congress Trades and member pages show a note at the top when any of their reports changed.

Changed

  • Reports that house.gov takes down or drops from its index now stay on the congress pages, tagged, instead of disappearing.

0.63.1

Changed

  • If the House replaces a trading report after it's filed, the congress pages now pick up the new version instead of keeping the first one. Reports from the last 60 days are checked for changes daily, older ones weekly.

Fixed

  • Congress member pages could fail to load a member's trades when opened directly.

0.63.0

Follow the money in Congress.

Added

  • Member pages. Click any House member's name on Congress Trades, or on a stock page, for everything they've disclosed over the last two years:
    • their buys and sells, estimated amounts, filing delays (and how many reports came in after the 45-day deadline), and whose account traded (self, spouse, joint);
    • how their buys did: the average move since each purchase, the same days against SPY, how many beat SPY, and how you'd have done buying when each report was filed;
    • what they trade most, monthly buying and selling, and every trade with its move since, linking to the original report.
  • Congress on stock pages. Every stock and ETF page has a Congress panel showing which House members have traded it in the last two years:
    • their buys, sells and estimated net, and each member's latest move (bought, trimmed or sold), as a hint at who still holds it;
    • buying and selling by quarter;
    • every trade, with a link to the original report.

Changed

  • The congress pages now draw on two years of House reports, not just the latest 60. The history fills in over the first few minutes after an update, and each panel shows how much has been read so far.

0.62.0

Added

  • Use It in Discord on the Alerts page (logged in): the Last Guard bot commands that work with what you save here (portfolio cards, adding and selling holdings, upcoming events, P&L cards, watchlist cards, the server leaderboard), with an example of each.

0.61.1

Fixed

  • Charts sent to Discord from high-resolution screens are scaled down to 2,000 pixels wide, so they send reliably and still look sharp in Discord.

0.61.0

What's coming up, in Discord.

Added

  • lgf portfolio events [name] in Discord lists the next 30 days of earnings reports and ex-dividend dates for a portfolio's holdings, with each holding's share of the portfolio. It's the same list as the Upcoming panel here.
  • The daily portfolio card DM now lists that week's earnings and ex-dividend dates for your holdings.

0.60.0

Server leaderboards.

Added

  • Show a portfolio on server leaderboards. In a portfolio's Share menu, tick "Show its % returns on server leaderboards" (logged in).
    • In any Discord server you share with the Last Guard bot, lgf leaderboard ranks everyone who opted in by today's change, and lgf leaderboard total by total return.
    • Only percentages are shown, never dollar amounts.
    • One portfolio at a time; untick it to leave.

0.59.0

Bring your holdings over from your broker.

Changed

  • Import CSV on the Portfolio page now reads positions exports from brokers like Fidelity, Schwab, E*TRADE and Vanguard, as well as the simple symbol, shares, cost format.
    • It finds the symbol, quantity and cost columns by name, and uses the average cost, or the total cost basis divided by shares.
    • It skips cash, money-market, option, pending and total rows.
    • A holding spread across several accounts or lots becomes one position at its average cost, with its earliest purchase date.
    • Class shares like BRK.B become BRK-B.
    • Amounts like "$1,234.50", "(12.30)" and decimal commas ("58,5") are understood.

Fixed

  • Importing more than 80 different symbols no longer skips the rest.

0.58.0

Track what you've sold.

Added

  • Sell on every holding in your portfolio. Enter the shares, price and date: the holding shrinks, or goes if you sold it all, and the sale is kept.
  • Realized Gains on the Portfolio page:
    • this year's and all-time gains, your share of winning sales, and earlier years one by one;
    • every sale with its price, cost, gain and gain %;
    • Export CSV.
  • In Discord, lgf portfolio sell AAPL 5 at 190 records the sale in Realized Gains too (at the current price if you leave it off).

Changed

  • × on a holding still removes it without recording a sale, for fixing mistakes.
Older releases (63)

0.57.0

Alerts on your positions, and your portfolio from Discord.

Added

  • P&L alerts. On any PNL tab, the Alert button next to Share sets a Discord alert on that position. The Last Guard bot DMs you when it's up or down the percentage you choose of what it cost to open.
    • The DM includes the position card.
    • It comes at most once each way a day, in market hours.
    • The button shows the alert when one is set.
  • Manage your portfolios from Discord:
    • lgf portfolio add AAPL 10 182.50 to Retirement adds shares. Leave the price off to use the current one.
    • lgf portfolio sell AAPL 5 sells shares, and lgf portfolio remove TSLA removes a holding.
    • lgf portfolio new Trading starts a portfolio.
    • Changes show up here on your next visit, or within a couple of minutes if the page is open.

0.56.0

Hear about big days in your portfolio.

Added

  • Portfolio move alert under Alert Delivery on the Alerts page. When you're logged in, the Last Guard bot DMs you when a portfolio moves more than the amount you pick (±0.5% to ±10%) in a day.
    • The DM includes the day's change, the portfolio's value and its card.
    • It comes at most once on the way up and once on the way down each day.
    • Pausing all alerts pauses it too.

0.55.0

Plan around your portfolio.

Added

  • Upcoming on the Portfolio page: the next 60 days of earnings reports and ex-dividend dates for your holdings, soonest first, with each holding's share of the portfolio. Earnings link to the stock's EE page.
  • Today's Contribution: how much each holding added to or took from today's move, in dollars and in percentage points of the whole portfolio.
  • Rebalance: set a target weight for each holding and see the trades that get you there.
    • Buy and sell brings everything to its target.
    • Only buy puts new cash toward the holdings furthest below target, without selling anything.
    • Equal weight and Use current weights fill in targets in one click. Holdings without a target are left as they are.
    • Copy trades copies the list, ready for your broker.
    • Targets are saved with the portfolio, and to your account when you're logged in.
  • /api/events on the JSON API page: next earnings and ex-dividend dates for up to 60 symbols.

0.54.0

Your portfolio in your DMs after the close.

Added

  • Daily portfolio card. When you're logged in, the Last Guard bot can DM you your portfolio card every weekday after the close (about 4:15 PM ET).
    • Turn it on from a portfolio's Share menu ("DM me this card every weekday after the close").
    • Or turn it on under Alert Delivery on the Alerts page, where you can also pick the portfolio and choose percentages only.
    • One portfolio at a time. In Discord, lgf alertsettings shows it too.

0.53.0

Share your portfolio, positions and charts in Discord.

Added

  • Share menu on the Portfolio, the P&L positions panel, every PNL tab and your watchlists. It makes a clean image card of what you're looking at:
    • Download PNG or Copy image to paste it anywhere.
    • Send to Discord: when you're logged in, the Last Guard bot posts it in your DMs, or in a server's member alerts channel, within a few seconds. You'll see when it's posted, with a link to the message.
    • Percentages only hides dollar amounts, share counts and contract sizes, for when you'd rather not show the size of your account. Your choice is remembered.
  • Portfolio card: value, today, unrealised P&L, a year against SPY, dividends, your largest holdings, allocation and the year's performance line.
  • P&L card: the strategy, cost, value and P&L now, max profit and loss, breakevens, chance of profit, the payoff at expiry and today, and every leg.
  • Send charts to Discord: right-click a chart for Send chart to my Discord DMs, or post it in a server's alerts channel. The image includes your drawings and indicators.
  • Strategy names on the PNL tab and the Portfolio's P&L panel, e.g. "Bull call spread", "Covered call" or "Iron condor".
  • In Discord:
    • lgf portfolio lists your saved portfolios, P&L positions and watchlists with today's values.
    • lgf portfolio generate "My portfolio 2" posts a portfolio card. The name can be partial or a number, like 2.
    • lgf pnl posts all your P&L positions, and lgf pnl TSLA posts one with its payoff chart.
    • lgf watchlist card posts your Discord watchlist; add a name for one of your website lists.
    • Add --private for percentages only, or --dm to get it in your DMs.

Fixed

  • P&L positions now save to your account when you're logged in. Before, they stayed in the browser you made them in.
  • Logging in on a new device no longer adds an empty "My portfolio" or the starter "Main" watchlist to your account.

0.52.0

Your P&L positions and your portfolio, linked.

Added

  • P&L positions on the Portfolio page (PORT). A new panel lists every position you've saved in the P&L calculator, with live values:
    • each position's legs, when you opened it, its next expiry, and what it cost to open;
    • what it's worth now, your P&L in dollars and percent, and how many shares of it this portfolio holds;
    • totals across all your positions, plus a link to open each one or remove it.
  • P&L link on every holding. Click P&L on a holding to open its PNL tab. The first time, the calculator starts with your shares at your average cost, dated from when you bought them, so you can add options on top. Once a position exists, the link shows how many legs it has.
  • Portfolio menu on the PNL tab:
    • Add your holding as a leg: add the shares you hold in any portfolio as a stock leg, at your average cost and buy date.
    • Add the position's shares to a portfolio: save its stock legs to a portfolio, at their average price.
    • The button shows how many shares of the stock you hold across your portfolios.

Changed

  • The Portfolio page now says where your portfolios are saved: in this browser, or on your account when you're logged in.

0.51.0

When you opened it.

Added

  • Opened date and time on every leg of the P&L calculator (PNL). New legs are stamped with the moment you add them, and you can change it to when you actually bought or sold. Hover it to see how long you've held the leg.
  • P&L Since Opened: a chart of how the position has done since you opened it, using the stock's real price history.
    • Each leg counts from its own open time, marked on the chart (e.g. "Buy 100 sh", "Sell 360.00 call").
    • It shows the P&L now plus the best and worst points along the way.
    • It also works for share-only positions.

0.50.0

A P&L tab for every stock.

Added

  • PNL tab (PNL) on every stock, ETF and index, next to the options chain. It's the new home of the Profit & Loss Calculator, with:
    • An expiry picker, so strategies and new legs can use any expiry.
    • P&L Over Time: the position's P&L curve today, at points in between, and at expiry, so you can see time decay.
    • P&L by Price and Date: a heatmap of profit and loss for prices ±15% around the current price, from today to expiry.
    • Earnings Scenarios: when a report falls before your first expiry, your P&L the day after it for moves of up to twice the options-implied earnings move. An IV-crush slider shows how the usual drop in implied volatility after earnings affects the position.
    • Position Greeks: delta (in shares), gamma, theta per day and vega per volatility point at the current price, and a chart of delta and theta across prices.
  • Your position is saved. Legs, the target price and the date slider are kept for each symbol and are there when you come back. When you're logged in, they're saved to your account.

Changed

  • The calculator has moved from the options page to the PNL tab. On the options page, clicking a Bid (sell) or Ask (buy) still adds that contract, now to your saved position. A link at the top of the chain shows how many legs it has.

0.49.0

Better chart setups, and share links that show your whole chart.

Added

  • Default setup. The Setups menu always has Default, the site's standard chart, so you can get back to it in one click. It resets the indicators and colours too.
  • Edit within a setup. Changing the chart no longer drops you out of your setup.
    • The button shows "Setup: Swing •" for unsaved changes, with Save next to it to keep them. On Default, it's Save as…, which saves your changes as a new setup.
    • Discard changes in the menu puts the setup back.
    • The setup you're on is remembered, and follows your account when you're logged in.
  • Share links show the chart as you made it. Share (and "Copy link to this chart") now includes your drawings, candle colours and indicator styles, not just the range and indicators.
    • The person opening it sees your lines with a note saying where they came from. They can Save to my chart or Hide, and nothing is added to their own chart unless they choose.

Fixed

  • A shared link showed the viewer's own indicators wherever yours were the site defaults. Shared charts now open exactly as they were shared.
  • With several lower panes open, parts of the Indicators menu sat behind the chart's pane dividers and couldn't be clicked.

0.48.0

Saved chart setups, and your workspace on every device.

Added

  • Saved chart setups. The new Setups menu on every chart saves the chart type, indicators, periods and colours under a name, such as "Swing: SMA 50/200 + RSI". Apply one to any chart in a click.
    • Each setup can be updated from the current chart, renamed or deleted. You can keep up to 30.
    • The button shows the setup the chart currently matches.
  • Your workspace follows your account. When you're logged in, these are saved to your account and appear on any device or browser you log in from:
    • your chart drawings (lines, Fibonacci, rectangles, text and the rest);
    • saved chart setups and chart preferences;
    • watchlists and portfolios;
    • the multi-chart layout.
  • No lost edits across devices. Changes made on two devices at once are merged. A list added on your phone and another added on your desktop both stay, and anything you delete is deleted everywhere.
  • Nothing lost on first login. Anything already saved in your browser is added to your account.
  • Shared computers. If someone else logs in on the same browser, they see their own workspace, not yours.
  • The account menu shows whether your charts, drawings and lists are saved.

0.47.0

Earnings alerts from the calendar.

Added

  • On the earnings calendar (ECAL), each upcoming report has a bell when you're logged in. Click it for a Discord heads-up about 24 hours and 1 hour before the company reports; click again to turn it off. A filled bell means the alert is on.
  • The calendar's ★ (always shown, and the "My watchlists only" filter) now includes your Discord watchlist.

0.46.0

Alerts and the Discord watchlist on every security page.

Added

  • 🔔 Alert next to ☆ Watch on every security page.
    • Logged in, it lists that symbol's Discord alerts, removes them, and adds any type (price, % move, trailing stop, technical or earnings) without leaving the page. The button shows how many alerts the symbol has.
    • Logged out, it sets a browser price alert and offers Discord login.
  • The ☆ Watch menu has a Discord watchlist entry when you're logged in. It's the same list as lgf watchlist.
  • The watchlist page (WATCH) has a Discord tab when you're logged in. Add and remove tickers there just as in your other lists; it's the list the bot's daily digest uses.

0.45.0

Discord alerts.

Added

  • When you're logged in, the alerts page (ALRT) manages your Discord alerts. The Last Guard bot sends them, even with this site closed.
    • Alert types: price, % move, trailing stop, earnings, and technical (RSI levels, volume spikes, moving-average crosses, new 52-week highs and lows, SuperTrend flips, MACD crosses, golden and death crosses, TTM squeeze).
    • Alerts you set in Discord with lgf alert, lgf trailing, lgf techalert or lgf earningsalert show up here too. Changes either way reach the bot within about a minute.
    • Choose how they reach you: a DM, a post in your server's alerts channel (with or without a mention), or both. You can also pause them all without losing them.
    • Recent Discord Alerts shows what fired, when, and where it was sent.
    • Your Discord watchlist (lgf watchlist) and the daily watchlist digest can be changed here as well.
  • Alerts saved in this browser can be moved to your Discord account in one click.
  • On charts, "Alert when…" and Alt+A create Discord alerts when you're logged in. Their lines are labelled "Discord".
  • The status bar counts your Discord alerts and shows when they're paused. If one fires while the site is open, a notice pops up.
  • The account menu links to your Discord alerts.

Fixed

  • The screener's Small-cap gainers list (SCRN) failed after Yahoo changed the format of its results. It loads again.

0.44.0

Sign-in, shared with lastguardbot.com.

Added

  • An account menu in the top bar, at every screen size:
    • Anyone signed in on lastguardbot.com is signed in here automatically, with no second login.
    • Signed in, it shows the Discord avatar and display name. The menu links to the dashboard and has Log out.
    • Signed out, Log in goes through Discord on lastguardbot.com and returns to the same page.
    • Signing in or out in another tab shows up when you come back to this one.

0.43.2

Changed

  • The top bar links to the market brief (BRIEF) and the news wire (TOP) alongside Markets, Heatmap and Movers.

0.43.1

Behind-the-scenes work; no changes to the site.

0.43.0

Treasury auctions.

Added

  • The yield-curve page (CURV) adds Treasury auctions from TreasuryDirect:
    • Upcoming Treasury Auctions: date, security, size (or TBA) and settlement date.
    • Recent Auction Results over three weeks:
      • the high rate (bills show the investment rate) and the bid-to-cover ratio;
      • how the competitive awards split between indirect bidders (largely foreign and domestic funds), direct bidders and primary dealers. A large dealer share signals weak demand.
    • The auction panels load after the curve, so the chart isn't held up.

0.42.0

Implied moves in the brief.

Added

  • The market brief (BRIEF) quotes the options-implied move for the biggest companies reporting, both in the summary (e.g. "JPMorgan Chase (JPM, ±3.6% implied)") and in its earnings panel.
  • /brief?d=YYYY-MM-DD previews an upcoming session's data and earnings calendar, up to a week ahead. Prices are always live.

Fixed

  • Company names in the brief are cleaned of corporate suffixes and "The" ("Goldman Sachs", not "The Goldman Sachs Group"), using the S&P 500 list's names where possible.

0.41.0

Expected earnings moves.

Added

  • Expected Moves This Week on the earnings calendar (ECAL): for the largest companies yet to report (over $10B), the move options are pricing.
    • The move is the at-the-money straddle of the first expiry after each report, shown as ±% and as a price range.
    • It loads on its own, so the calendar doesn't wait for the option chains.
  • The single-stock earnings page (EE) and the calendar share the same implied-move calculation.

0.40.0

Analyst actions on the security page.

Added

  • The Analyst Consensus panel (ANR) on a stock's page lists its five latest rating and price-target actions from the last 45 days: date, firm, action (upgrades and downgrades highlighted), rating, and the old and new target. It links to the market-wide UPDN feed.

Fixed

  • Recent ratings are copied before sorting, so the cached history is never changed in place.

0.39.0

Analyst actions.

Added

  • Analyst actions (UPDN, /ratings): every rating and price-target change on the 100 largest S&P 500 companies over the last two weeks.
    • Upgrades, downgrades, initiations, reiterations and target changes, with the firm, the old and new rating, the old and new target (and the % change), and the target's implied upside from the current price.
    • A 7-day tally of upgrades vs downgrades, target raises vs cuts and initiations.
    • Filter by action type or sector, or search a symbol, company or firm. Side panels list the busiest firms and the most-covered stocks; click one to filter.

0.38.0

Central bank policy rates.

Added

  • Central bank rates (CB, /central-banks): policy rates of about 40 central banks, from the Fed and ECB to Türkiye and the Philippines, grouped by region.
    • Each shows its current rate, its last move (size, date and the rate before), the change over a year, and its path over two years.
    • Global Rate Moves counts the cuts and hikes worldwide over the last 90 days and 12 months, and lists the latest moves.
    • Data comes from the Bank for International Settlements (no key). It can lag announcements by a few days; WIRP covers what markets expect the Fed to do next.

0.37.0

Sturdier data when sources hiccup.

Fixed

  • A brief outage at Yahoo or another source could be cached as "no data" for minutes, hours or even days, depending on the panel. Charts, daily history, quote summaries, option chains, earnings, fund profiles, holders, insiders, the Treasury curve and congress trades now tell the two cases apart:
    • Temporary failures (timeouts, rate limits, 5xx errors, Yahoo's "Sherpa" and crumb errors) are no longer cached. The panel shows its usual empty state and the next visit tries again.
    • Genuine "no data" answers, such as an unknown or delisted symbol, are still cached as before.

0.36.0

Extended-hours movers.

Added

  • Pre-market and after-hours movers at the top of the movers page (MOST): the S&P 500 stocks moving most before the open or after the close, with the last close, the extended-hours price and the change. It disappears during the regular session.

Fixed

  • A brief Yahoo screener outage ("Sherpa batch get failed") could leave the gainers, losers and most-active lists empty for several minutes, because the empty result was cached. Failures are now retried once and never cached.

0.35.0

Stocks that trade alike.

Added

  • Trades Most Like… on the peers page (RV): the 10 S&P 500 stocks whose daily returns have moved most closely with the symbol over the past year.
    • Each shows its correlation, its beta to the symbol, its 1-year return, and a one-click COMP comparison.
    • Least Like It lists the five lowest or most negatively correlated stocks, the best diversifiers against it.
    • Works for ETFs and indices too (e.g. /q/SPY/peers), since it only needs price history.

0.34.0

What's new page.

Added

  • What's new (LOG, /whats-new): every release from this changelog, newest first, with what was added, changed and fixed. The latest twelve are shown and older ones fold away.

Changed

  • Changelog entries are separated by a blank line before each release heading, so they read and render consistently.

0.33.0

API documentation.

Added

  • JSON API page (API, /developers) documents the read-only endpoints the site is built on, for the Discord bot, scripts or spreadsheets:
    • endpoints: quotes, intraday sparks, chart bars, adjusted daily history, option chains, symbol search, profiles, the news wire and technical signals;
    • for each: parameters, response shape, cache time and a live example link;
    • symbol formats for indices, futures, currencies, coins and share classes, plus a short Python example.

0.32.0

Volatility dashboard.

Added

  • Volatility (VOL, /vol):
    • Headline: the VIX and its 1-year percentile, the VIX ÷ VIX3M ratio (contango or backwardation), SPY's 20-day realized volatility, and how far implied sits above or below realized.
    • Term structure: S&P 500 implied volatility from 1 day to 1 year (VIX1D, VIX9D, VIX, VIX3M, VIX6M, VIX1Y), now against a week and a month ago.
    • VIX futures curve: spot VIX and the monthly futures, from Cboe's daily settlement prices.
    • Vol indices: the S&P set plus Nasdaq 100 (VXN), VVIX, SKEW, emerging markets, Treasuries, crude oil (OVX) and gold (GVZ), each with level, change, 1-year range, percentile and sparkline. Indices with too little history show no range rather than a misleading one.
    • Charts of VIX ÷ VIX3M over the past year (backwardation shaded), and the VIX against SPY's realized volatility.

0.31.0

World markets clock.

Added

  • World markets clock (WCLK, /clock): 15 stock exchanges from New York to Sydney.
    • Each shows its local time, regular hours (with lunch breaks in Asia), whether it's open, closed or at lunch, and how long until it opens or closes. Countdowns update every minute.
    • Each also shows its main index's live level and move.
    • The US row follows Nasdaq's own calendar, so it shows pre-market, after hours, holidays and half days.
    • Saudi Arabia's Sunday-to-Thursday week is handled.
    • Trading hours today: a 24-hour timeline in New York time with every exchange's sessions and a line for now.

Notes

  • Local holidays outside the US aren't shown; those rows follow regular weekday hours.

0.30.0

Industry rotation.

Added

  • The Relative Rotation Graph (RRG) can plot an industry group instead of the sectors, showing which industries are leading, weakening, lagging or improving against SPY.
    • Groups: technology, financials, health care, consumer, industrials & real estate, energy & materials, size & style. These are the same groups as the sector & industry board (SECT).
    • Pick one from the row above the graph. The choice is in the URL, e.g. /rotation?u=energy-and-materials.

0.29.0

Heatmap periods and the full S&P 500 map.

Added

  • The heatmap page (HMAP) can show all S&P 500 companies (the new default) or the top 70 large caps.
    • It can be coloured by the move over 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, year to date or 1 year.
    • The colour scale widens with the period (±3% for a day up to ±40% for a year), and the legend and tooltips say which period you're looking at.
    • Tiles are grouped by GICS sector and sized by market cap. Each company appears once (no double tile for GOOGL and GOOG).

Fixed

  • The heatmap's "cap-weighted" figures now weight each stock by its value at the start of the period. They read like an index, the change in the group's combined value, rather than overweighting the period's winners.

0.28.0

Crypto sentiment and signals on the security page.

Added

  • Crypto Fear & Greed at the top of the crypto board (CRYP): today's score and band, yesterday, a week and a month ago, and a 90-day sparkline (alternative.me, daily).
  • Signals on the security page: for S&P 500 stocks, the key-stats panel lists the stock's technical signals from the last close (52-week high, breakout, RSI ≥ 70…), or says there are none. Each badge links to the full TECH list for that signal.

0.27.0

Watchlists get signals and news.

Added

  • Signals column on watchlists: each S&P 500 stock on the list shows its technical signals from the latest close (TECH), such as 52-week high, breakout or RSI ≥ 70. Click a badge to see every stock with that signal. The column is on by default and can be hidden from the column menu.
  • Watchlist News under the list: the latest news-wire stories that mention any of the list's symbols, refreshed every two minutes, with the matching tickers linked to their wire view.
  • /api/signals returns the latest scan as { asOf, map: { SYMBOL: [signals] } }.

0.26.0

Earnings season scorecard.

Added

  • Earnings season (EA, /season): how S&P 500 companies are doing against EPS estimates, for this season and the last one. This season covers reports made this calendar quarter, i.e. last quarter's results.
    • Headline figures:
      • how many have reported, and the share that beat, matched or missed;
      • the median surprise;
      • the average share-price reaction to beats and to misses.
    • By sector: reported count, beat rate, median surprise and average reaction. Click a sector to filter the report list.
    • The biggest beats and misses (estimates of at least $0.10, so penny estimates don't dominate).
    • Every report with estimate, actual, surprise and reaction, filterable to beats or misses.
    • The S&P 500 companies reporting over the next week, largest first, with pre-market or after-hours timing.
  • Past days of the earnings calendar are now cached for weeks, since they no longer change.

Notes

  • The reaction runs from the close before a report to the first close after. Past calendars don't record whether a company reported before the open or after the close, so for those the window spans both sessions.

0.25.0

Technical signals.

Added

  • Technical signals (TECH, /signals) scans every S&P 500 stock after each close for 12 signals:
    • new 52-week highs and lows;
    • golden and death crosses in the last five sessions;
    • crossing above or below the 200-day average;
    • 20-day breakouts and breakdowns;
    • RSI at or above 70, or at or below 30;
    • moves of 5% or more either way.
    • Chips show how many stocks fire each signal. Click one (or a badge in the table) to list them; filter by sector.
    • Sort by day change, RSI, distance from the 50- and 200-day averages, or distance from the 52-week high.
    • The chosen signal is kept in the URL (e.g. /signals?sig=golden).

Changed

  • Breadth (BRDH) and the signal scanner share one cached download of S&P 500 price history instead of each fetching their own.

0.24.0

Compare performance.

Added

  • Compare (COMP, /compare): up to 8 stocks, ETFs, indices or coins on one chart.
    • Total return with dividends reinvested, rebased to 0% at the start of the window.
    • Ranges from 1 month to full history, and a log scale so a big winner doesn't flatten the rest.
    • Statistics for each symbol:
      • return and annualised return;
      • volatility, Sharpe ratio and maximum drawdown;
      • best and worst day;
      • correlation and beta of daily returns against the first symbol.
    • Volatility is annualised by how often each instrument actually trades (365 days for coins).
    • Add or remove symbols in place. The list and range live in the URL, e.g. /compare?s=NVDA,AMD,SMH&r=3Y.

0.23.0

Sectors and industries.

Added

  • Sectors & industries (SECT, /sectors): the 11 S&P 500 sector SPDRs plus 35 industry and style ETFs, grouped as:
    • Technology (semis, software, cybersecurity, cloud, internet, robotics & AI)
    • Financials (banks, regional banks, insurance, brokers)
    • Health care (biotech, pharma, devices, providers)
    • Consumer (retail, homebuilders, leisure, airlines)
    • Industrials & real estate
    • Energy & materials (E&P, oil services, solar, uranium, lithium, metals, gold and copper miners)
    • Size & style (equal weight, small caps, growth, value, momentum, quality, minimum volatility)
    • Each row shows the live price, today's move, 1-week to 1-year returns, a "3M vs SPY" relative-strength column, the yearly range and a sparkline.
  • Column headers on the FX, commodity, crypto and sector boards now rank each group by that column; click again to restore the default order.
  • The home page's sector panel links to the full industry board.

Fixed

  • Board "Change" columns showed four decimals for small moves on normally priced instruments (e.g. "+0.5000"); they now use the price's precision.

0.22.0

Market brief.

Added

  • Market brief (BRIEF, /brief): a one-page rundown of the session (the next weekday on weekends).
    • A summary in plain sentences, written from the numbers:
      • US futures before the open (the indices once trading starts);
      • the 10-year yield, the dollar, oil, gold and bitcoin;
      • overseas markets;
      • today's key US data with times;
      • the largest companies reporting before the open and after the close;
      • what futures price for the next Fed decision, and the VIX.
    • Copy puts the summary on the clipboard as a bulleted list, ready to paste into Discord.
    • Panels: markets (futures or indices, overseas, rates/dollar/commodities), today's economic calendar with consensus and prior, earnings by timing with consensus EPS, top headlines, market mood, and Fed odds for the next meeting.

0.21.0

Fed rate expectations.

Added

  • Fed rate expectations (WIRP, /fed), the policy path priced into 30-day Fed funds futures:
    • Today's target range and effective rate (New York Fed), the next meeting and what's priced for it, and the total move priced over the next year.
    • Meeting by meeting:
      • the implied rate after each decision and the move priced at that meeting;
      • hike/hold/cut odds split between the nearest quarter-point outcomes;
      • the cumulative change in basis points and in quarter-point moves.
    • Meetings with new projections (the dot plot) are starred. The schedule is read from the Fed's own calendar, so new years appear on their own.
    • A step chart of the priced path, with every monthly contract and today's target range.

0.20.0

Unusual options activity.

Added

  • Unusual options activity (UOA, /unusual) scans the two nearest expiries of about 50 liquid names: the major index, sector, bond and commodity ETFs, the mega-caps, and the day's most active stocks.
    • Flags contracts with at least 250 contracts traded, more volume than open interest, and $50K or more in premium. Sorted by premium.
    • Filters: calls or puts, premium floor ($50K, $250K or $1M), expiry window, and hiding deep in-the-money contracts (on by default, since those are mostly stock-replacement trades rather than bets on a move).
    • Each row shows strike, expiry and days left, spot, how far out of the money, volume, open interest, volume ÷ OI, price, premium and IV, and links to that expiry's chain in OMON.
    • Summary: total call vs put premium, the put/call volume ratio, and how many contracts were flagged.
    • A by-symbol table shows each name's call vs put premium, put/call ratio and number of hits; click one to filter.
    • Rescanned every 10 minutes.
  • Before the open Yahoo reports no open interest. The scan detects this, flags on volume and premium alone, and says so on the page.

0.19.0

US economic statistics.

Added

  • US economy dashboard (ECST, /macro) with 20 indicators in four groups:
    • Inflation: CPI and core CPI (year over year), CPI month over month, PCE and core PCE, CPI shelter, PPI final demand.
    • Jobs: payrolls added, unemployment, U-6, participation, average hourly earnings growth, job openings.
    • Growth: real GDP growth and real disposable income.
    • Rates: Fed funds, the real Fed funds rate (less core PCE), 2- and 10-year Treasury yields, and the 10-year minus 2-year spread.
    • Each row shows the latest reading, the prior one, the change and a 5-year sparkline.
    • Click a row for its chart over 5 years, 10 years or the full history, with recessions shaded, the 2% target on inflation measures, and the prior, year-ago and 5-year high and low.
    • The selected indicator is kept in the URL (e.g. /macro?s=core-pce).
  • Data comes from the BLS public API and from BEA and Federal Reserve releases via DBnomics. If one source is down, its indicators are left out and the page says so.

0.18.0

Fund profiles for ETFs and mutual funds.

Added

  • Fund holdings & profile (FUND, /q/[symbol]/fund) for ETFs and mutual funds:
    • Profile: family, category, inception, assets, NAV, expense ratio against the category average (and what it costs a year on $10,000), turnover, yield, 3-year beta and Morningstar rating.
    • Top holdings with weights, live prices and each holding's contribution to the fund's move today.
    • Asset mix, sector weights, and the P/E, P/B, P/S and P/CF of the stock holdings.
    • Bond funds: credit-quality breakdown and the share in US government debt.
    • Trailing total returns (1M to 10Y annualised) computed from dividend-adjusted prices, side by side with SPY, or AGG for bond funds.
    • Calendar-year returns for the last 15 years against the category average, and 3/5/10-year volatility, Sharpe, beta, alpha and R².
  • The security tabs now fit the instrument: FUND shows for ETFs and mutual funds, while FA, EE, DCF and RV show only for stocks.

Notes

  • Yahoo's bond duration and maturity figures and its trailing category returns don't hold up against the funds' own data, so they aren't shown.

0.17.0

Market mood on the home page.

Added

  • Market Mood panel on the Markets home page, next to Top Headlines:
    • Today's fear & greed score with its band, plus the previous close, a week, a month and a year ago. Click through to FG.
    • S&P 500 breadth at a glance: advancers vs decliners, new 52-week highs and lows, and the share of stocks above their 50- and 200-day averages. Click through to BRDH.

Changed

  • The fear & greed colour bands live in one shared place, so the gauge page and the home panel always agree.

0.16.0

Added

  • News wire (TOP, /news): one live stream of headlines from CNBC, MarketWatch, Nasdaq, Investing.com, Seeking Alpha, the Federal Reserve and the SEC.

    • Filter by source, search, show only stories about your watchlist symbols, and optionally show summaries.
    • Each story is tagged with the tickers it's about: from the feed's own tags, (NASDAQ: XYZ) mentions, S&P 500 company names, and index, commodity, coin and currency words ("oil", "gold", "bitcoin", "S&P 500", "yen"). Tags show the live move; click one to see only that ticker's stories.
    • Side panels: the most-mentioned tickers of the last 24 hours with prices, and the latest Fed and SEC press releases.
    • Refreshes every 90 seconds and marks new stories. Topic, ticker and search are kept in the URL (e.g. /news?topic=earnings, /news?s=NVDA).
  • Top Headlines panel on the Markets home page.
  • Company news (CN) links to the symbol's stories on the wire.

0.15.0

  • Lower panes: Stochastic RSI, Commodity Channel Index (±100 guides), Money Flow Index (80/20), Williams %R (−20/−80) and rate of change, each with an adjustable period where it applies.

0.14.0

A strategy backtester.

Added

  • Backtest (BT, /backtest): test a long-or-flat strategy on any symbol's dividend-adjusted daily history.

    • Growth of $10,000 (linear or log), drawdowns, the price with every buy and sell marked, and the trade list with CSV export.
    • The URL carries the setup (e.g. /backtest?s=QQQ&st=rsi&r=5Y&p=period:10,low:25,high:75), so a test can be shared.
  • The chart's right-click menu can open the backtester for the symbol.
  • /api/history returns a symbol's full adjusted daily history.

0.13.0

Cross-asset boards and a reorganised function rail.

Added

  • Currencies (FXC, /fx): a live cross-rate matrix for eight major currencies, coloured by today's change, with each currency's strength against the rest; plus major, cross and emerging-market pairs.
  • Commodities (CMDTY, /commodities): energy, metals, agriculture and livestock futures with units.
  • Crypto (CRYP, /crypto): the largest coins with market caps and bitcoin/ether share, plus bitcoin and ether ETFs and crypto stocks.
  • Every board shows live price and change, 1-week to 1-year returns as a heat map, where the price sits in its one-year range, and a one-year sparkline.

Changed

  • The function rail is split into Markets, Assets (yield curve, FX, commodities, crypto), Calendars (earnings, economic, IPO, dividends), the open security, and Tools.

Fixed

  • One instrument whose quote doesn't match the expected shape (some futures) no longer blanks every price fetched alongside it.

0.12.0

Relative value and ownership.

Added

  • Peer comparison (RV, /q/[symbol]/peers): a company against up to ten peers from the same S&P 500 sub-industry, then similar-size companies in its sector.
    • Headline premium or discount to the peer median on forward P/E, EV/EBITDA and price/sales, and the gap in net margin and revenue growth.
    • Table tabs for valuation (P/E, PEG, P/S, P/B, EV/EBITDA, EV/sales, yield), profitability (margins, ROE) and growth & risk (revenue and EPS growth, 1-year return, beta, debt/equity), with a peer-median row.

  • Holders (HDS, /q/[symbol]/holders): institutional, insider and public ownership, the number of institutional holders, and the top ten institutions and funds with shares, value and change since their last filing.

0.11.0

Added

  • Economic calendar (ECO, /economic): the week's releases and central-bank events with consensus, previous and actual values, in New York time.
    • Filter by country (US by default), show key releases only (★: inflation, jobs, growth, central-bank decisions and speeches), or search.

    • Filter by minimum yield, common stock only (hides preferreds, notes and units), S&P 500 only, or search.
    • Upcoming stock splits, marked forward or reverse.

Changed

  • The earnings calendar shares its week navigation with the new calendars.
  • Decorative amber is gone from charts (earnings implied move, option-odds target, analog median) to keep amber for things you can act on.

0.10.0

A portfolio tracker.

Added

  • Portfolios (PORT, /portfolio): up to ten named portfolios, saved in the browser (ready to move to accounts).
    • Add positions with shares, cost per share (defaults to the current price) and purchase date. Buying more of a held symbol averages the cost in. Click shares or cost in the table to edit them.

    • One click to stress-test the holdings or see how they move together.
  • /api/profile returns sector and industry for any symbol (S&P 500 names from the bundled list).

0.9.0

Market internals: S&P 500 breadth and a fear & greed gauge.

Added

  • Market breadth (BRDH, /breadth):
    • Today: advancers and decliners, up versus down volume, the share of stocks above their 50- and 200-day averages, new 52-week highs and lows, and the median move.
    • The past year, from daily closes of every constituent: advance-decline line against SPY, share above the 50- and 200-day averages, new highs against new lows, and the McClellan oscillator.
    • Breadth by sector, a histogram of today's moves, and the ten stocks pushing the index up and pulling it down most (market-cap weight × change).
  • Fear & greed (FG, /sentiment): a 0–100 gauge averaging seven signals, each ranked against its own past year:
    • market momentum (SPY against its 125-day average), net new highs, breadth, VIX against its average, the VIX term structure, stocks against Treasuries, and junk bonds against Treasuries.
    • Readings for the previous close, a week, a month and a year ago, a one-year history, and each signal's score.
  • Quotes now carry the 50- and 200-day moving averages.

Fixed

  • Share classes of one company (GOOGL/GOOG, FOXA/FOX, NWSA/NWS) each carry the whole company's market cap from Yahoo; breadth weights now split it between them.

0.8.0

Fundamentals: full financial statements and an earnings page.

Added

  • Financial statements (FA, /q/[symbol]/financials): income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and ratios, annual (about four fiscal years) or quarterly.
    • A trailing-twelve-months column on flow statements; the balance sheet adds the latest quarter.
    • Ratios per period: growth, gross/operating/net/EBITDA/free-cash-flow margins, return on equity and assets, tax rate, capex and stock comp as a share of revenue, payout, buybacks, debt/equity, net debt/EBITDA and current ratio.
    • Click any line item to chart it (up to six at once), show the % change between periods, or download the table as CSV.
    • Banks get their own layout (net interest income); companies that report in another currency say so.
  • Earnings & estimates (EE, /q/[symbol]/earnings):
    • Next report: date and timing (before the open / after the close), EPS and revenue consensus with ranges, growth versus a year ago.
    • The options-implied move for the report (at-the-money straddle on the first expiry after it), next to the average size of the stock's last four earnings moves.
    • Last four quarters: EPS against the estimate, surprise, revenue, and the share-price reaction the next session and five sessions later, as charts and a table.
    • Consensus for this and next quarter and year, with the analyst range, how the consensus moved over 30 and 90 days, and how many analysts raised or lowered.
    • Forward quarterly and yearly EPS forecasts from Nasdaq, with ranges and four-week revisions.
  • The security page's Financial Snapshot and Earnings panels link to the new pages.

0.7.0

More advanced charts: a drawing toolbar, editable drawings, and indicators you can hide, recolour and re-period.

Added

  • Drawing toolbar on the left of every chart: trend line, ray, extended line, horizontal line, horizontal ray, vertical line, rectangle, Fibonacci retracement, price range and text note.
    • Pick a tool and left-click the chart. Two-point tools take two clicks, or one press-and-drag.
    • Magnet snaps points to the nearest open, high, low or close; the lock keeps the tool active for several drawings in a row.
    • Hide all drawings, or remove them all.
  • Editing drawings: click one to select it, then drag its handles or the whole drawing.
    • A style bar sets its colour (16 swatches or any custom colour), thickness and line style; text notes get a size and can be edited.
    • Del deletes the selected drawing; Ctrl+Z undoes the last drawing change, including deletes and moves.
    • Each tool remembers the last style you used.
    • Horizontal lines and rays show their price on the price scale; vertical lines show their date. A selected drawing shows all its prices and dates.
  • Indicator legend: every indicator lists its value at the crosshair. Hovering a row shows three controls:
    • Hide (eye) keeps it on the chart's list but stops drawing it.
    • Settings: period (moving averages, Bollinger, Keltner, RSI, ATR, ADX), colour, thickness, line style, and whether the value shows on the price scale.
    • Remove takes it off the chart.
  • Values on the price scale: each moving average, VWAP, SuperTrend and lower-pane study shows its latest value on the scale in its own colour.
  • Chart settings menu: candle colour presets (green/red, teal/red, a colour-blind-safe blue/orange, mono) or custom colours, grid lines on or off, and a magnet crosshair that snaps to closes.
  • Shared links carry periods (e.g. len=sma50:60,rsi:21). Colours and appearance stay personal: opening someone's link keeps your own colours.
  • Alt+V draws a vertical line.

Changed

  • The right-click menu's "Measure from this bar" is now a price-range drawing started at the cursor, and drawings can be edited from the menu.
  • The Draw menu in the chart toolbar is replaced by the side toolbar.
  • Horizontal lines from earlier versions are kept and become editable drawings.
  • Up to 60 drawings per symbol (was 30).

Fixed

  • Clicking an item's name in a dropdown (for example an indicator in the Indicators menu) closed the menu instead of toggling the item. Only the checkbox itself worked.

0.6.2

Changed

  • The function rail no longer lists DES, ANR, CN and SEAS. They are sections of the security page that you reach by scrolling. Typing the code in the command line (e.g. NVDA DES) still jumps to the section.

0.6.1

Fixed

  • DCF for shares quoted in pence, cents or agorot (London, Johannesburg, Tel Aviv): these are now valued in pounds, rand or shekels. Before, a value in pounds was compared with a price in pence, so the fair value came out about 100× too low.
  • The DCF page shows £, € and ¥ signs instead of currency codes, and says when statements were converted or the quote is in a sub-unit.
  • Exchange rates fall back to the inverse pair when Yahoo doesn't list the direct one.

0.6.0

The bot's research tools on the web: valuation, option-implied odds, historical analogs, crisis stress tests, insider activity and congressional trades. Plus a multi-chart layout.

Added

  • DCF valuation (DCF, /q/[symbol]/dcf): the same two-stage free-cash-flow model as lgf dcf.
    • Sliders for years 1–5 growth, discount rate and terminal growth; the page recalculates as you drag.
    • Value bridge from present values to enterprise value, equity value and value per share, against today's price.
    • Reverse DCF: the growth rate today's price implies.
    • Discount-rate build-up (CAPM cost of equity on the 10-year Treasury, cost of debt from interest expense, tax rate and debt weight).
    • 5×5 sensitivity grid across discount rate and terminal growth, centred on the current inputs.
    • Historical and projected free cash flow chart, and the year-by-year cash-flow table.
    • Companies that report in another currency (e.g. TSM in Taiwan dollars) are converted to the trading currency. Banks and insurers get a warning that cash-flow models mislead for them.
  • Option-implied odds (ODDS, /q/[symbol]/odds): the price distribution at expiry that option prices imply, as in lgf odds (Breeden–Litzenberger on a smoothed volatility smile).
    • Chart against a plain bell curve with the same volatility, with the middle 68% shaded.
    • Odds of finishing above or below any target price.
    • Percentiles, odds of ±5% and ±10% moves, expected price and the downside-tail premium.
    • Any expiry; defaults to the one nearest 30 days.
  • Historical analogs (ANLG, /q/[symbol]/analogs): the ten past windows whose price shape best matches the last 20–120 trading days, and what followed, as in lgf analogs.
    • Overlay chart with the median path and the 25th–75th percentile band.
    • Results compared with all periods of the same length as a baseline.
  • Crisis stress test (STRS, /stress): any list of up to 25 symbols, or a saved watchlist, through six sell-offs from the dot-com bust to the 2022 rate shock, as in lgf stresstest.
    • Symbols that weren't trading yet get a beta-based estimate, marked as such.
    • Equal-weight list against SPY, as a table and a chart.
  • Insider activity (INSD) on stock pages: six-month buys and sells, net share change, and the latest Form 4 transactions.
  • Congress trades (CONG, /congress): stock trades disclosed by members of the House, read from the Clerk's Periodic Transaction Reports (the same source as lgf congress).
    • The 60 latest reports, parsed into individual trades: member, owner, ticker, asset, buy/sell, trade date, filing lag and amount range, each linked to its PDF.
    • Most-traded tickers and most active members, with filters for ticker, member, buys/sells and asset type.
    • /congress?s=NVDA opens filtered to one ticker; stock pages link to it.
  • Multi-chart (MULT, /multi): 1, 2, 4 or 6 charts side by side, each with its own symbol and range; the layout is saved in the browser.
  • Function tabs under the quote header on security pages (Overview, OMON, ODDS, DCF, ANLG), so these screens are reachable on phones.

Changed

  • The MAX chart range can now show daily bars.
  • Function names in the rail read as short labels (Odds, Valuation, Analogs, Stress).

0.5.0

Screener, earnings calendar, yield curve, sector rotation, correlation and seasonality.

Added

  • Stock screener (SCRN, /screener): all 502 S&P 500 constituents, with sectors and sub-industries from Wikipedia.
    • Filters: sector, market cap, P/E, forward P/E, dividend yield, today's change (or absolute move), relative volume, distance from the 52-week high, price, and days to earnings.
    • Nine quick screens, e.g. near 52-week highs, unusual volume, value, dividend 3%+, reporting this week.
    • Sortable results, CSV export, and *Save as watchlist*.
    • The URL keeps the screen, so it can be bookmarked or shared.
    • Tabs for Yahoo's predefined screens: undervalued growth, growth tech, aggressive small caps, small-cap gainers, most shorted.
  • Earnings calendar (ECAL, /earnings):
    • The week's reports by day from Nasdaq's free calendar, sorted by market cap, with before-open/after-close timing.
    • Shows consensus EPS and last year's EPS; once a company reports, its actual EPS and surprise.
    • Filters: market cap, watchlist-only and search; watchlist names are starred.
    • Previous and next week navigation.
  • Yield curve (CURV, /rates):
    • US Treasury par curve (1 month to 30 years) against a week, a month and a year ago.
    • Changes in basis points per tenor (1D/1W/1M/1Y).
    • 10Y−2Y and 10Y−3M spread history with inversion status.
  • Sector rotation (RRG, /rotation): Relative Rotation Graph of the 11 SPDR sector ETFs against SPY, with 6-week tails, quadrants and a ranked table. Same method as lgf rrg.
  • Correlation matrix (CORR, /correlation): correlation of daily returns for a default cross-asset set (stocks, bonds, credit, gold, oil, dollar, bitcoin, VIX) or your own list of up to 24 symbols, over 3M, 6M or 1Y.
  • Seasonality (SEAS) on every security page:
    • Average and median return per calendar month with the share of positive years.
    • This year's path against the average year, and a colour-coded year × month grid (up to 20 years).
  • New function codes in the rail, the command line and the ? help: SCRN, ECAL, CURV, RRG, CORR and SEAS.

Changed

  • The earnings panel on security pages keeps the EE code; the market-wide calendar is ECAL.

0.4.0

Watchlists, the option monitor and an options profit & loss calculator.

Added

  • Watchlists (WATCH, /watchlist):
    • Multiple named lists with live quotes every 15 seconds and intraday sparklines.
    • Choose your columns: extended hours, 52-week position, relative volume, market cap, P/E, dividend yield, earnings date and more.
    • Sort, reorder, add several symbols at once (unknown tickers are rejected) and export to CSV.
    • A summary line shows advancers/decliners and the average, best and worst move.
    • Lists are saved in the browser. The first list ("Main") will sync with the bot's lgf watchlist once sign-in exists.
  • ☆ Watch button on every security page, to add or remove the symbol from any list.
  • Option monitor (OMON, /q/[symbol]/options):
    • Calls and puts side by side for every expiry, with last, change, bid/ask, volume, open interest, IV and Black-Scholes delta.
    • In-the-money shading, an ATM marker and a spot line in the chain. Volume above open interest is highlighted.
    • Expected move from the ATM straddle (same rule as lgf emove), implied range, ATM IV, max pain and put/call ratios by volume and OI.
    • Charts: open interest by strike, volatility smile, IV term structure across 10 expiries, and dealer gamma exposure by strike with gamma profile, flip level and call/put walls (same method as lgf gex).
    • Chain CSV export; the selected expiry is kept in the URL.
  • Profit & loss calculator on the option page:
    • 10 strategy presets: long call/put, covered call, cash-secured put, bull call and bear put spreads, straddle, strangle, iron condor, butterfly.
    • Click any bid (sell) or ask (buy) in the chain to add that contract.
    • Editable legs: buy/sell, quantity, strike, price, plus stock legs and mixed expiries.
    • Payoff at expiry with profit/loss shading, and a second curve for today or any date before expiry.
    • Net debit/credit, max profit and loss (including unlimited), breakevens, probability of profit (lognormal) and return on risk.
    • P&L at a target price.
  • API routes: /api/options (one expiry's chain) and /api/sparks (intraday sparklines).

Changed

  • When Yahoo has no live option quotes (weekends), IVs are solved from each contract's last trade instead of using Yahoo's placeholder values (50%, 25%, 12.5%…). They're marked *, and a banner explains it. Max pain and the open-interest chart say when no open interest is published, instead of showing misleading values.
  • Charts now catch bad chart settings and blank that one chart instead of breaking the page.

0.3.0

Link previews, shareable charts, drawing tools and new indicators.

Added

  • Discord and Twitter link previews:
    • /q/NVDA links now unfurl as a card with the symbol, price, day change, key stats and a 6-month line.
    • The home page unfurls with a market snapshot.
    • Cards use the large-image format and the site's IBM Plex fonts.
  • Site icon, Apple touch icon and web app manifest.
  • Shareable chart links:
    • The URL follows the chart: range, interval, type, indicators, volume, log scale and comparisons. Opening the link restores that exact view.
    • Copy it with the new Share button or *Copy link to this chart* in the right-click menu.
  • Drawing tools:
    • Trendlines (Alt+T), Fibonacci retracements (Alt+F) and horizontal lines (Alt+H), from a new Draw menu or the right-click menu (*Start trendline here*).
    • Saved per symbol and kept in place across interval changes.
    • Right-click one to remove it.
  • New indicators:
    • Keltner channels, Ichimoku (with the forward cloud), SuperTrend, and ADX with ±DI.
    • Volume profile for the visible range, with the point of control highlighted.
    • Anchored VWAP from any bar (right-click → *Anchor VWAP here*).
    • New indicators are included in CSV exports.
  • Keyboard shortcuts help: press ? anywhere (or use the status bar) for every shortcut and function code.
  • Phone menu: a bottom menu with Markets, Heatmap, Movers, Alerts and Search on phone-width screens.

Changed

  • The Alerts page's "Chart Lines" panel is now "Chart Drawings" and covers lines, trendlines and Fibonacci retracements.
  • The security page opens technicals from the daily year, whatever range the chart starts on.

0.2.0

Chart right-click menu, price alerts and data export.

Added

  • Chart right-click menu. Open it with a right-click, Shift+F10 or the menu key.
    • At the cursor price: set a price alert, draw a horizontal line, or copy the price.
    • On the hovered bar: measure from it, or copy its OHLCV.
    • Export:
      • Download a CSV of the visible range or of all loaded bars. It includes the active overlays and indicators, plus the closes of compared symbols.
      • Copy the visible data for pasting into Excel or Sheets.
      • Save or copy a chart image (PNG) with a header showing the symbol, range, last bar and time.
    • View: reset to the requested range, fit all data, or toggle the log scale.
    • Remove: right-click on an existing alert or line to remove it, or clear all lines for the symbol.
  • Keyboard shortcuts on a focused chart: Alt+A sets an alert, Alt+H draws a line, Alt+R resets the view, and Esc clears a measurement.
  • Measure tool: pick a starting bar and the legend shows the change, % change, bar count and days to the cursor.
  • Price alerts:
    • Alerts appear on the chart as dashed lines.
    • They're checked every ~20 seconds while any page of the site is open; background tabs are throttled by the browser.
    • A fired alert shows a toast and, if allowed, a desktop notification.
    • Same format and 20-alert limit as the Discord bot's lgf alert.
  • Alerts page (ALRT, /alerts):
    • Add alerts by symbol and price.
    • Live distance to target for active alerts.
    • Fired alerts can be re-armed or removed.
    • Shows desktop-notification status and lists saved chart lines by symbol.
  • Status bar: shows how many alerts are being watched.
  • Toasts: confirmations and fired alerts appear bottom-right.

Changed

  • Chart footer is shorter and now shows the number of alerts and lines on the symbol.
  • Chart axis text is redrawn once web fonts load, so it always uses IBM Plex Mono.

Notes

  • Alerts and lines are stored in this browser only. Syncing them to your account and the Discord bot is planned.

0.1.0

First release: the markets terminal shell, the markets screens and a full security page.

Added

  • Terminal shell on every page:
    • Command line: / or Ctrl K focuses it. It accepts a ticker (AAPL), a function code (WEI) or both (NVDA GP), with ticker search suggestions.
    • Ticker tape: futures, indices, rates, FX, commodities and crypto, refreshed every 20 seconds.
    • Function rail and status bar: the rail lists function codes. The status bar shows the market session, the New York clock and the data source with its last refresh time.
  • Markets (WEI, /):
    • World equity indices by region, with intraday sparklines.
    • Futures, Treasury yields (changes in basis points), FX, commodities and crypto.
    • Large-cap heatmap and S&P sector performance.
    • Top gainers, losers and most active, with relative volume.
    • Tables sort by clicking their column headers.
  • Heatmap (HMAP, /heatmap): full-screen treemap of large caps by sector, sized by market cap and coloured by % change. Tiles link to the security page.
  • Movers (MOST, /movers): top 25 gainers, losers and most active.
  • Security page (/q/[symbol]):
    • Live quote header: extended-hours price, day and 52-week ranges, volume vs average, key ratios.
    • GP chart:
      • Candles, hollow candles, Heikin-Ashi, OHLC bars or line.
      • Ranges from 1D to MAX, with intervals from 1 minute to monthly.
      • Overlays: SMA 20/50/200, EMA 9/21, Bollinger bands and session VWAP.
      • Lower panes for RSI, MACD, Stochastic, ATR and OBV, resizable by dragging.
      • Compare up to three symbols as % change; log scale.
      • Dividend and split markers, and a crosshair legend.
      • Indicator choices are remembered per browser.
    • DES key statistics: 1W–1Y and YTD performance, valuation, ownership, short interest, and daily technicals (RSI, distance from moving averages, trend, MACD, ATR, realised volatility, distance from 52-week high/low).
    • ANR, FA, EE: analyst consensus with price-target range and recommendation trend; financial snapshot; next earnings with estimates and the ex-dividend date.
    • Profile and news: company or fund profile (officers, top holdings, expense ratio) and latest headlines (CN).
    • Index, FX, futures and crypto pages hide fields that don't apply instead of showing dashes.
  • API routes for live data: /api/quotes, /api/chart, /api/search.

Notes

  • Data source: Yahoo Finance, delayed and unofficial. Where Yahoo's reported change contradicts its own price and previous close (seen on ^VIX), the site recalculates it from the previous close.
