The company also provides SION, a bladeless and manually operated device used in ophthalmic surgical procedures to excise trabecular meshwork; and TearCare system, a proprietary, interventional, dry eye device designed to melt and facilitate the comprehensive removal of meibomian gland obstructions and restore gland functionality and healthy oil production for adult patients with evaporative dry eye disease due to meibomian gland disease when used in conjunction with manual expression of the meibomian glands for ophthalmologists and optometrists. It serves hospitals, medical centers, and eyecare professionals through sales representatives and distributors. The company was incorporated in 2010 and is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.
